Kevin M. Ramsey, ASGCA
Principal
Kevin Ramsey is a principal with Santa Rosa, California based Golfplan-Dale & Ramsey, but his career in golf course architecture began in 1988, before he completed his Landscape Architecture degree from UC Davis. Ramsey joined Golfplan in 1999 as a Senior Golf Course Architect. Today, as a full partner, his responsibilities include site evaluation, golf course land use planning, golf design, design development, preparation of working drawings, construction inspection and liaison with real estate and resort planning firms and municipal agencies. He also oversees working drawing preparation and coordinates with other project engineering and design firms. Ramsey grew up in Chicago and learned the game from his parents. He went on to play collegiate golf for the University of California at Davis, competing in the NCAA Division II National Championships in 1987 and 1988. He still maintains a single digit handicap and lives in Marin County, Calif., with his wife and young daughter.
