Sentosa Golf Club - Serapong Course
Sentosa Island, Singapore
Originally designed by Golfplan and opened for play in 1982, Sentosa Golf Club was built on land reclaimed from the Singapore Harbor onto Sentosa Island.
The club management asked Golfplan to return in 2001-2002 for a total renovation. The course was modified to address the effects of time and withstand the changes in technology.
While maintaining the private club’s enthusiasm for the original architecture, the fresh look provides tournament and daily play for all skill levels. In 2005, the course hosted the return of the Singapore Open and was named as the Asian qualifying course for the British Open, formerly held at another Golfplan-designed course, Saujana Golf & Country Club in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
